Helen Harris Amburgey Obituary

Burkeville, Va.

Helen Harris Amburgey, age 71, of Burkeville, Va. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September, 13, 2016.  She was born in Elmer, NJ on August 19, 1945 to Earl Harris and Helen Fauver Harris.  Helen was wonderfully blessed to have lived to age 71.  She was preceded in death by her father, mother, two brothers, youngest son, Howard John Tedder, and husband of 34 years, Chuck.  Helen is survived by two sons, Claude Tedder, Jr. (Malinda) of Farmville, Va. and Charles Virgil (Kerri) of Keysville, Va.; two daughters, Patricia Johnson (John) of Keysville, Va. and Virginia Adams (Daniel) of Nathalie, Va.; and one brother, Leroy Harris of Millville, NJ.  She also leaves to cherish her memory twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and another great-grandchild on the way.  Helen was a member of Grace Community Church in Charlotte Court House, Va. and a resident of Trinity Health and Rehab. in Farmville, Va.

A celebration of her life was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Grace Community Church in Charlotte Court House, with Pastor Robert Perrin officiating.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Va. was in charge of the arrangements.
