mccalluff1Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe and First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe continued on their tour of all 36 Virginia State Parks with visits on Saturday, August 29 to Twin Lakes State Park in Green Bay and High Bridge Trails State Park in Prince Edward County. The Governor has stressed the importance that Virginia’s State Parks and tourism have in our State’s economy. “I talk to folks all over the globe about why they should come to Virginia, so I want to come and see all the facilities myself,” McAuliffe was quoted saying recently. Virginia tourism is an industry that generates in excess of $20 billion a year, and creates more than 200,000 jobs. The visits on Saturday bring the Governor’s total to 23 parks visited to date.
