Giving Tree to Help Local School Kids

The Giving  Tree that appears annually in December’s display of Christmas trees at the Victoria Public Library is sponsored by the Christian Women’s Fellowship of the Victoria Christian Church. Each year the tree has a new theme.  Giving themes have ranged from gifts to area nursing homes to warm hats and gloves distributed by the Salvation Army.  This year’s gifts are school supplies for needy children at Victoria Elementary School.  Church members as well as members of the community are encouraged to donate to this cause by taking items to the library.
