Fuqua Hoopsters Help with Operation Christmas Child

1128 Basketball Operation ShoeboxFuqua School’s varsity basketball team, along with Coach Marcus Gregory, recently helped load boxes for the local Operation Christmas Child project. Bland Newman, OCC Network Coordinator and Fuqua School teacher, assisted with the loading. Farmville United Methodist Church is the regional Operation Christmas Child Collection Center and serves the counties of Appomattox, Brunswick, Buckingham, Charlotte, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward. By the end of the day, the boys had loaded 115 cartons containing almost 2,484 shoe boxes.
