Fire Damages Local Home

Firefighters from Prospect, Hampden-Sydney and Farmville Fire Departments battled a house fire early Tuesday morning. There was one resident in the home when the fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. at 270 Tuggle Road. No one was injured during the fire and a cause has not been determined at this time.
