Farmville Golf Course, Banquet Room, Pool, Airport FOR SALE OR LEASE

I want to thank the Farmville Herald for publishing the astonishing expenses of maintaining the Municipal Airport. The town diverted $446,196.00 from the General Fund the last five years to keep this debacle open. In addition to yearly maintenance costs, the town’s six year plan will spend an insane amount of $13,200,000.00 on the

Municipal Airport.  These examples and the $2,200,000.00 spent on the golf course to protect the airport demonstrate that Farmville is irresponsible and abusive with taxpayers’ money.

Are we to believe that spending this huge amount of  taxpayer money is for the common good of our citizens?

Or, is it just for the playground of privileged few? Let the pilots buy the airport and the courtesy car.

When are citizens going to hold our town officials accountable? Are any of our candidates for mayor and town council going to make a stand?

If we can’t sell or lease these properties, just close them. Citizens would be amazed at the taxpayer savings by just closing these nonessential properties. In the next recession this money will be needed for necessary and critical services.

Your article is on time but my opinion is that judges, like the law enforcement, lie and use half truths, fear, threat of use of force, and fraud to perpetuate their own agenda. Please investigate this further…

Below is the Code of Virginia Statute on the courts authority and you will find he does not have that authority as a blank check but the board must start an investigation either for the repair or building a new structure. And upon the advice of the committee of professional investigators and their suggestive findings can make the appropriate steps to correct the problem also. Non-positive law is not law and the government always lies or makes demands on the basis of it’s the law when it is not law. Non-positive law is not Law, only positive law is law. One is prima facia or at first glance and the latter is evidence.

It is important to remember that judges’ decisions and orders are not law since they do not have positive law authority, but only negative law authority. If a man orders a burger in a restaurant he must pay for the burger he orders. It is no different for judges since we are equal under the law. For a judge to order by decree for someone or anyone to build something is power to legislate and he does not have that authority delegated to him since that is a legislative authority and they don’t have the power to transfer that authority to someone else.

Dear Editor:

Just last Christmas, you remember three months ago? Target Corp. was hacked into and 40 million credit card numbers and associated banking information was stolen…Well, guess where the hackers are based? You guessed it, the Ukraine.

Two weeks ago Russia gave the Ukraine a bloody nose and now we have Senator McCain heading a delegation to go over there and negotiate a multi-billion dollar bail out for the corrupt county.

For the last three years the women and children of Syria have been shot, starved and gassed and not a word out of Washington about intervention. Maybe it’s because there is no oil in Syria? Surely the U.S. would not do something like that, but they did it in Rwanda, too: hands off, not our fight, unless…

Remember the name McCain means son of Cain.

The voters simmer.
