Erma Poole Vaughan, 92, Saxe

Erma Poole Vaughan, age 92, of Saxe, Virginia passed away, Tuesday, September 24, 2013. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda V. Jones and her husband, Ray, of Red Oak, Virginia; a son, Wayne T. Vaughan and his wife, Linda of Saxe; four grandsons, Jay Ramsey and his wife, Lisa of Appomattox, Virginia, Jason Ramsey and his wife, Dana of Madisonville, Virginia, Taylor Vaughan and Stormy of Saxe, and Waylin Vaughan of Saxe; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Ramsey of Concord, Virginia, Ruby Ramsey, of Madisonville and Wyatt Vaughan of Saxe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Vaughan; a daughter, Joan Vaughan Ramsey; three brothers, Albert, Luther, and Gordon Poole; and two sisters, Alice Poole Hicks and Nora Poole Bugg.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Hebron United Methodist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends at the home of Wayne and Linda Vaughan, 300 Lin-Way Lane from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia was in charge of the arrangements.
