Easter Contest at Jamerson Library

Come meet Sir Snaggletooth at the Jamerson Library! Sir Snaggletooth is a knight among dragons! He is here to herald the announcement of the Library’s Easter Raffles, and to help advertise the “Public Safety Fair”.

jamerson library basketsWhat is the Public Safety Fair? It is a renaissance-style fair that will feature lots of activities to choose from, focusing on fun ways to learn about keeping safe. This venue is for all ages, from the youngest knights and princesses to the most honorable of Lords and fair Ladies.

Sir Snaggletooth along with his friends Lord Ducky and Princess Pink will be raffled off with their Easter baskets filled with toys, candy and more, on Thursday, April 17, just in time to be picked up for Easter Sunday. Chances are $1.00 each or six chances for $5.00. All proceeds will go toward the Appomattox County Library System. They can be seen at the Jamerson Library, and you can purchase chances at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, or the Pamplin Depot Library Branch. To see Sir Snaggletooth and the other raffles please stop by the J.
