FARMVILLE – The Prince Edward Eagles Varsity Boys Basketball team continues to look for improvement through this season. They would play well at times against Cumberland last week, but ultimately fell by a 60-50 score.
The Dukes jumped out to a 13-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and increased that to a 30-12 margin at halftime. The Eagles battled back in the second half while outscoring Cumberland 21-9 in the third quarter.
The fourth quarter saw the Dukes regain control and get their offense rolling again as they took a ten point win.
Tajh White led the Eagles in scoring with 14 points while Tyvonn Spencer scored 11 and Rahquan Payne added 9 to pace Prince Edward.
