KENBRIDGE – The Kenbridge Town Council recognized two local members of Boy Scout Troop 7452 last week for reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. Kenbridge Mayor Emory Hodges presented Hunter Langert and Ryan Wilson with resolutions honoring the two for this accomplishment.

Langert joined the local troop in 2012 and has advanced through the ranks to the point of reaching this highest rank. He obtained the rank on August 3, 2015 at the age of 16.

Wilson is also a member of Troop 7452 and joined the group in 2008 at the age of 11 and reached the Eagle Scout rank in January 2015 at age 17. Wilson and Langert both reached this prestigious rank under Troop Leader Todd Wilson, who is also an Eagle Scout.

Mayor Hodges stated, “I think it is pretty neat for the little town of Kenbridge to produce two Eagle Scouts in the same year. This is something that later in life you all will really appreciate and thank you all for what you do in this community.”
