Drunk Driver Arrested in Farmville

Thomas Wayne Davis was arrested after the accident pictured above on October 8, 2017. Davis was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and driving with an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Court records show a specific notation that this is Davis’ first DUI, but that his blood alcohol content was in excess of .2. The legal limit in Virginia is .08. There were no injuries reported after Davis rear-ended a vehicle stopped at the stoplight on South Main Street at Peery Drive. Photos by Evan Jones
