Drugs and Firearms Seizure Leads to Five Arrests

AMELIA – Virginia State Police and Amelia County officials along with the ATF executed multiple search warrants on January 22 that resulted in the arrest of five individuals. These warrants were in the 11000 block of Amelia Springs Rd. and the 9000 Block of Military Highway in which drugs and firearms were seized which led to the arrests.  All five individuals were transported to Piedmont Regional Jail.

The individuals arrested include: 

*Shaunacy R. Bishop, 34, 22000 Block of Hull St. Road, Moseley, Va.

Chesterfield Charge: Felony – Extort: In Writing

Misd. – Petit Larceny <$500 Not from a person

Amelia Charge:

Felony – Possess w/Intent to Manufacture/Sell Schedule I,II

Felon – Possess firearm while in Possession of Schedule I or II

Buckingham Charges:

– Felony – Public Records: Forgery

– Felony – Public Records: Forgery

– Felony – Public Records: Forgery

– Felony – Public Records: Forgery

– Misd. – Lic. Revoked: Drive w/o License, 1 Offense

– Misd. – Falsely Identify Self to Law Enforcement

*Amanda L. Atkins, 35, 11000 Block of Amelia Springs Rd., Amelia Va.

Amelia Charge: Felony – Possess Schedule I or II

*Phillip Randall Butler, 37, 8200 Block of Dash Ln., Amelia, Va.

Amelia Charge: Felony – Possess Methamphetamine w/Intent to Distribute, etc.

*Jennifer T. Holloway-Strba, 43, 10000 Block of Evergreen Drive, Amelia, Va.

Amelia Charge: Felony – Possess Schedule I or II

*Mark L. Wilson, 46, 11000 Block of Amelia Springs Rd., Amelia, Va.

Amelia Charges: Felony – Possess Schedule I or II

-Felony – Possess w/Intent to Manufacture/Sell Schedule I, II

This investigation is ongoing and authorities say that more arrests are expected.
