Driver Escapes Serious Injury

Timour A. Daoud, 27, of Lynchburg, Va., escaped serious injury last Thursday when the 2003 Toyolla Corolla he was driving overturned in the roadway.

At approximately 2:39 p.m., Daoud was traveling eastbound on Route 460, less than a mile west of Route 600 in Prince Edward County, when he ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected, proceeded to run off the right side of 460 striking an embankment and overturned in the roadway. Daoud was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

He was wearing a seatbelt and has been charged with reckless driving.
