Detectives Seek Assistance in Gas Station Robbery

BRUNSWICK – Detectives from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the person who robbed the BP gas station at 5053 Southport-Supply Rd. in Southport.
The incident occurred on the evening of February 17 at approximately 8:30. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0” tall, wearing a short sleeve, dark blue t-shirt, tan pants, and a camouflage beanie. He also has a beard or facial hair.
No weapon was brandished and no one was hurt. Anyone with information should call 911.
