Depot Project Gaining Momentum

The Friends of the Fort Mitchell and Keysville Depots have announced that bids have been opened and a contracted awarded to Old Dominion Exteriors of Keysville for the continued stabilization of the Keysville Depot with the work to be completed by June.

The stabilization phase will include replacing the footings and foundation, leveling the cupola, replacing the plywood on the roof, removing and saving the siding and installing sheathing around the building.  Upon competition the depot will be dry and secure for the first time in several decades and the actual restoration can begin.
