CRC REGIONAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN – DRAFT HIRA AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW; MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MAY 9 TO PRESENT FINDINGS

SOUTHSIDE – The Commonwealth Regional Council (CRC) is working on the DRAFT of its update of the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan for Planning District 14, and is ready to present a portion of the Update for review. This Plan Update covers the Counties of Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward, and the Town of Farmville.

A virtual meeting will be held on Monday, May 9, at 1:30 p.m. for the Project Management Team and local/regional stakeholders to review the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment portion of the Plan update. The public is invited to attend this meeting, which will be held virtually.
