A hearing to appoint council, scheduled for October 15, 2014, in the Prince Edward County Circuit Court, was marked for continuance in the case of Marjorie Lancaster Wall. According to Court documents, and in pursuance of a story reported by the Southside Messenger dated October 24, 2013, Marjorie Wall, a practicing attorney in Farmville, Virginia, consented to an Order of Revocation, dated October 15, 2013, by the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board. By doing so Ms. Wall effectively admitted that the charges against her, “violating professional rules that govern competence, diligence, safekeeping property, communication, fees, bar admission and disciplinary matters, and misconduct,” were true.

Ms. Wall, by way of grand jury indictment, is now facing two charges of Class U Felony Embezzlement as listed by code section18.2-111, State of Virginia. The two charges stem from specific allegations of wrongdoing in two separate cases she was handling for citizens that had retained her for legal services. One case was an estate administration. The second had to do with the distribution of post divorce assets.

According to public records, the hearing date set for the continuance is November 18, 2014. The type of hearing on that date has not been determined.
