Community Choir in Concert

The Charlotte County Hymn Choir will celebrate Transfiguration Sunday, March 2, 2014, at 3:00 p.m., at Phenix Presbyterian Church, with a concert of music made up of Epiphany selections appropriate to the church year. Mr. Dickerson has used one of the existing organizations that meets at the church on Mondays to quilt to form a new musical group. The Parish Quilt Chimers will have their premier when they accompany the hymn choir at the upcoming concert. Given their extreme skills at using their hands, this joyful group of women, Linda Vogt, Dottie Yates, Cookie Milton, Cyndy Wray, Pete Lipscomb, Mary Tucker, Evelyn Vandergrift, Jean Breedlove, and Shirley Thompson, were quick learners as Chimers.
