Colton Blake Osborne

colton osborne picColton Blake Osborne, 18, of Wylliesburg passed away August 27, 2016.  He was born April 30, 1998, to Eddie and Teresa Osborne.  Colton is survived by his parents, Eddie and Teresa Osborne.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dylan Osborne and a niece, Sadie Osborne. Colton is also survived by his grandparents, Eddie and Joy Royster of Red Oak and Myrtle Osborne of Wylliesburg and great-grandfather, Billy Rutledge of Red Oak.  He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Nora Rutledge and grandfather, Raleigh Osborne.

Colton was a 2016 graduate of Randolph-Henry High School and a member of Public Fork Christian Church.  He served as a volunteer firefighter for Chase City and Bacon District Volunteer Fire Departments.  Colton loved his baseball family and his fire department family.  He had a strong passion for baseball and the fire department.

A funeral service was  held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in the Public Fork Christian Church, Red Oak, Va., with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the home.  In lieu of flowers consider memorial contributions to CCVFD and BDVFD.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Va., is serving the family.
