CHS Graduates get Ready for Saturday as School Year Comes to a Close

VICTORIA – The school year came to a close this week as students were out early on Wednesday (May 18) for the final time before summer vacation starts.

For most students there will simply be a little break over the summer months prior to starting a new year. However, the 2016 graduates from Central High School will be attending school in Lunenburg for the final time this week and several events have brought that to their attention.

The group recently held their Baccalaureate Service for Graduates on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Kenbridge Christian Church.  Baccalaureate is a centuries-old graduation tradition unlike the larger commencement exercises held.  Thursday, there will be a “Class Night” at 7:00 p.m. at Central High School where awards and discussions will take place prior to the graduation date.

The Central High School graduation for 2016 will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Central High School in the CHS gymnasium. Tickets are required to attend the graduation event.
