CHS Cheer Team makes Regionals

WINDSOR -The Central Chargers Cheer Competition Team recently traveled to Windsor last week to compete in the Conference Tournament. Central faced stiff competition because there was a mixture of 1A and 2A size teams all together.

The Central Cheer team placed in the Conference Competition last week and headed to the Regionals on Saturday.

The Chargers would put together a strong routine and come away with a third place finish behind the host team Windsor and James River District foe, Goochland.

This now sends Central on to the Regional Competition that will be taking place this Saturday, October  31st at East Rockingham High School in Elkton.  The gym will open at 11:10  for spectators and the competition is set to begin at 12 pm.  There will be twelve schools from A and AA (conferences 33,34, 35, and 36) that will compete on Saturday with the top 4 teams advancing to the State competition.
