Christmas Activities

Christmas will hit Southside Virginia this week with parades, tree lightings, decorating contests, festivals and more. The Grand Illumination at MacCallum Moore Park in Chase City is Thursday night at 6 p.m. Festivities continue with the Keysville Christmas Parade Friday at 7 p.m. featuring bands, floats, cheerleaders, and, of course, Santa himself! Former SVCC President Dr. Pat Barber and his wife Pat are this year’s grand marshals.  Also happening this weekend and next week are the Tree Lighting in Charlotte Court House, the Phenix Christmas Parade, the Farmville Christmas Parade, Pamplin Christmas Program, Old Time Christmas in Victoria, and much more!
