Chief A.A. Booth II announces the arrest of Natasha Wisan, 21, of Crewe for two counts of felony child endangerment. The arrest stems from 911 calls that were received from residents in the 100 block of Plant Avenue regarding children being unattended outside. On 7/12/14 Crewe Police Officers found two children under the age of three outside unclothed and displaying poor hygiene. The mother of the children, Natasha Wisan, was contacted inside the residence. Officers found the house in poor condition, with little food and clothing for the children. The Department of Social Services was contacted and took emergency custody of the children.

“The situation could have been a lot worse if the neighbors didn’t take action when they observed the children outside the residence unattended. We are very thankful for the action taken by the neighbors that day,” stated Investigator Turner.
