chasin' CrazyThunderstorms did nothing to discourage fans from waiting to hear Nashville Band Chasin’ Crazy at the Crewe Fun Festival on Saturday evening. The Fun Festival, which began at 10 a.m. on Saturday, boasted a great concert lineup. The Fabulous Shakers played from noon to 2:30 and Ocean Boulevard took the stage from 3:00 to 5:30.  The pavilion at Hooper Park held a good crowd for the up and coming Chasin’ Crazy, that just the day before had played at the Country Music Awards Festival in Nashville, according to sources. It was no time after the band took the stage that the dance floor was full of dancers and fans singing along and clapping to the music. Local talent Creigh Riepe, hailing from Charlotte Court House, sings vocals and plays keyboards and guitar for the band. The Crewe Fun Festival is sponsored by the Keysville Volunteer Fire Department and the Sugar Shack Hunt Club.
