Charlotte County Man Charged Following Log Truck Accident

A 57-year-old Charlotte Court House man has been charged with reckless driving following a Wednesday morning accident.

According to State police, Christopher Lindsay was operating a logging truck on Route 727 in Appomattox County when he was unable to slow down due to faulty brakes. Lindsay’s truck overturned, spilling logs into the roadway.

The accident occurred at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Red House Road and Evergreen Avenue in front of Appomattox County High School.

Lindsay was not injured in the accident.
