The Central Chargers Varsity Baseball team advanced to Regional play for the second year in a row and got 13 wins in claiming the top seed in the Conference 42 tournament. The All-Conference baseball teams were recently released and the Chargers had a big presence on those groups with nine players being recognized. This would include Josh Paynter who was one of only two seniors on the team this year and was named the Conference Player of the Year.
The first team All-Conference members included, Ethan Hoover (pitcher), Christian Hall (pitcher), Nate Nowlin (third base), Jeffrey Goodwin (outfield) and Josh Paynter (outfield).
The second team group included Chandler Childress (pitcher), LJ Watson (shortstop), Malik Foster (outfield), Chris Fowler (catcher) and Ethan Hoover (first base).
Of the group, there were five sophomores and two juniors who will return next season for Central.

Hall—First Team Pitcher
Paynter—First Team Pitcher, Player of the Year
Goodwin—First Team Outfield
Watson—Second Team Shortstop
Foster—Second Team Outfield
