CFS 1 CFS 2 CFS 3LUNENBURG – Members of the Lunenburg Health Services (LHS) organization recently gathered together to accept a terrific gift from Container First Services (CFS).

CFS Chief Operating Officer Tim Webb made the trip to Lunenburg and brought with him a brand new 2018 Ford Escape vehicle that was donated to LHS and their nurse that travels throughout the county. LHS nurse Deborah Craven will be able to use the vehicle to visit patients and homes to help with patient treatment.

Craven and LHS Secretary Janet Watson work on the day-to-day efforts for LHS and were thankful for the wonderful donation.

When CFS acquired the landfill in Lunenburg County, part of the agreement included the fact that CFS would make yearly donations to different groups in the county to help them with needed items or donations. These donations have been beneficial to many different groups, including the local schools, recreational baseball and softball groups, as well as departments such as Victoria Fire and Rescue.

CFS continues to help the community in this manner and COO Webb said that Lunenburg County and their supervisors have done a great job of directing his company to different needed donations, including this vehicle.

Lunenburg Supervisor Wayne Hoover and Cal Spencer were highlighted for their efforts in suggesting this item be donated to LHS.
