This game would be over early as Central led big at halftime and cruised to a 62-14 win.

The Chargers got a little shock early on as Cumberland scored on their first offensive possession, but the Chargers quickly answered back as Malik Foster raced 49 yards down to the one-yard line. He scored on the next play and a Ben Atkins kick tied the game early on.

From that point forward it was all Central. The CHS defense forced a punt when Keenan Anunay and Dion Graham had tackles. Foster got in the endzone again with a 25 yard run.

Tyler Williams had a sack on the next Central defensive stand and that quickly turned into a 20 yard Anunay touchdown run.

Central got strong defense from Qwazale Jones and Kester Long on the next series with a pair of tackles for loss. This set up another Foster 7-yard touchdown run.

The teams went to halftime with the Chargers holding a huge 42-7 lead. Central got lots of playing time for everyone in the second half and some experience for younger players such as Tzion Wilkerson.

Wilkerson took advantage of the opportunity with a pair of over 40-yard touchdown runs where the freshman showed both power and speed. Khalil Watson also got in the endzone on a nice run and his second score in as many weeks.

Central continued to play well throughout the second half and cruised to the 62-14 win. This victory gave the Chargers a bye in the first round of the playoffs and they will now host an opponent on November 18 at Charger Field.
