The Central Chargers looked like they would run their way to a win over Goochland in the Homecoming game last week, but a late rally by the Bulldogs gave them the win.

Central would get off to a good start as Ceonte Watts raced in for the first Central touchdown of the game and the Chargers defense forced a quick three and out possession.

The Bulldogs would answer with a touchdown and two point conversion to take a first half lead at 8-6 to the locker room. The Central offense would answer again in the third quarter as they got good blocking up front from Garrett Williams and Ethan Hoover that allowed Jackson Dalton to score from 15 yards away. Watts added the two point run conversion and Central led 14-8.

The Chargers would get another big run from Watts in the fourth quarter as he broke free and raced 40 yards for another Central score to put the Chargers ahead 21-8.

Both teams would add late touchdowns, but the Central defense would hold late and the Chargers went on to a 28-22 victory over Goochland.
