Central High School Class of 2018 Graduates

VICTORIA – The Central High School Class of 2018 walked down the halls at their school on Saturday morning for the last time as students and exited the school as alumni.

The 2018 Commencement Exercises at CHS included an address from Lunenburg County Public Schools Superintendant Charles Berkley who reminded students to continue to work hard, learn from mistakes and chase their dreams.

Central High School Principal John Long also addressed the graduates and attendees. He congratulated them on all of their achievements and reminded them to take what they learned here and do great things.

Valedictorian Ben Spencer, Salutatorian Riley Jones, Nate Nowlin (#3 Honor Graduate), Brittany Tomlinson (#4 Honor Graduate) and Kaitlyn Jones (#4 Honor Graduate) also had remarks, speeches and poetry readings during the event.

The class included twenty-three honor graduates: Ben Spencer, Riley Jones, Nate Nowlin, Brittany Tomlinson, Kaitlyn Jones, Caitlin Bailey, Kyle Graham, Alexus Cypress, L.J. Watson, Morgan Hall, Jessica Kimball, Christopher Hailey, Christian Hall, Cornelius Fowlkes, Logan Wilkerson, Sara Wilson, Hailey Bayne, Casie Yatch, Carla Ramos, Kaylee Williams, Micajah Paynter, Darion Berrios, and Austin Alphin.
