CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE -The Grand Opening for the Central High Museum is just around the corner and organizers are asking for help from former students and community members in general.

The Central High Museum, Inc. will be having a cleanup day on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.  Anyone throughout the community, along with former graduates from Central High School in Charlotte, are asked to join in cleaning up the grounds as part of the preparation for the Grand Opening event that will be held on June 25, 2016.

Organizers say they hope to see lots of volunteers, and to “bring your yard tools, wear work clothing, hats and gloves and don’t forget your bug spray.”

Along with the cleanup, there will be food and refreshments that include grilled hot dogs, sodas, chips and bottled water for the volunteers.

The museum is located at 515 Thomas Jefferson Highway, Charlotte Court House, Virginia, next to the old Central High School, across from the Social Services Department. For more information, contact George E. Smith (434)770-1919.
