Central Basketball Picks Up Win Over PE

VICTORIA – The Central Chargers Varsity Boys Basketball team got their first win of the season last week in a thrilling victory over Prince Edward by a 38-35 final.
The two teams battled back and forth throughout the game with L.J. Watson hitting free throws at the end of the game to push the Central one point lead to three as time expired.

Watson was the scoring leader in the contest with 21 points while also picking up six steals on the night.

Ethan Hoover had a big game on the boards with 12 rebounds and 11 blocks while scoring seven points for the Chargers.

Darryl Jones added five points, and 10 rebounds, while Ben Spencer had three points, eight rebound and three steals.
