CCRA Basketball Season Nears End, All-Stars Chosen
Written by Italia Gregory on February 27, 2014 at 10:57 amAs the 2014 Charlotte County Recreation Associate Basketball season comes to an end, this year’s standout athletes will have the honor of competing this weekend at the South Boston Recreation Department gym in a double elimination tournament.
The tournament will kick off on Friday and the Charlotte County Pee Wee All-Stars will play at approximately 6 p.m., with the Midget team following immediately after at 7 p.m.
For the regular season, the blue team came out on top in 1st place in the 7-10 year-old division and a couple of teams are tied in the 11-14 year-old age group. However, a tie-breaker will be decided upon at a later date to declare the winner. The following players make up the CCRA

On Saturday, March 8, the players will be back at home in the Randolph-Henry High School gym for their last tournament games of the season. Games will start at 10 a.m.
