VICTORIA – A car fire on Thursday afternoon had Victoria Fire and Rescue responders going to Stagecoach Stop at 1650 K-V Rd just outside of Kenbridge.
A call was reported and Victoria Fire and Rescue dispatched to the store location at approximately 5:05 pm after a passerby reported seeing smoke coming from a vehicle parked on the side area of the store.
Responders raced to the scene and found the car engulfed in fire. They were able to quickly put out the flames and secure the scene, but not before the vehicle was a total loss. No people were in the vehicle when it caught on fire and there were no injuries.
There was no reason reported as to why the fire began.
