Anthony Berry Rowlette, 93

Anthony Berry Rowlette, age 93, formally of Drakes Branch Va., passed away on September 19, 2013.

He was born in Jetersville, Va. to the late Martha Jane Yeatts Rowlette and Henry Rowlette on July 3, 1920.

He was a WWII veteran and when he came home he married the love of his life, Doris Dickerson in 1947. Together they had two sons.

He is survived by his wife, Doris, two sons, Richard Rowlette and Nancy of Kentucky and Henry Rowlette of Farmville, Va., two step-grandchildren, J.R. and Rachel Holt and Blair Harless, five step-great grandchildren, Eathan Holt, Addison Holt, Austin Harless, Hannah Harless and Preston Harless.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Amelia Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Amelia Va.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Meherrin SPCA, or an SPCA of your choice.
