Angry Women in Stump County

A few months ago in Stump County a group of Roids, Rants and Rangs formed a local chapter of the Society of Angry Women of America, or SOAWOA. The chapter is called Angry Women of Stump County or AWSC.

The following information is from recruitment brochures being circulated in the county to encourage support.

Learn how to use anger to intimidate- Join SOAWOA

The only requirements are being unemployed and angry.  Employed people are not eligible for membership as jobs interfere with being angry.  Jobs also interfere with the time necessary for the duties of “Angry Women”.

Men are eligible to join “Angry Women” and the organization states:  “Although SOAWOA was formed by angry women SOAWOA does not discriminate based on sex, gender, age, preference, race, religion, aptitude, ability or any other factor; however most men avoid angry women. The only requirement is anger. “

Most of the men seen at SOAWOA are “Yes, Dears” as those men who quietly attend meetings are fondly called. “Yes, Dears” may join as auxiliary (non-speaking and non-voting) members as they usually don’t meet the anger requirements.

Occasionally a “Yes Dear” will reach the level of anger needed to become a full member but unfortunately at that point they usually sever all ties to “Angry Women”.

Angry Women attend public meeting and are angry with every decision made.  Unless they are involved in the process the process is wrong.  The goal is to change the world through anger.

It has been documented that as men age they lose testosterone and as women age they have an increase in testosterone.  This is why you will find many “Angry women” to be older as well as why more older men are “Yes, Dears.”

“Angry Women” do not let facts interfere with their anger. Nor do they allow minor issues like decency, manners or ethics interfere. The important issue is anger and using that anger to intimidate those who have not reached the “Yes, Dear” stage of development.

You will often hear “Angry Women” saying, “This isn’t personal” to excuse their actions. SOAWOA believes this is reasonable; however, personal criticism of “Angry Women” is always considered personal.

On the other hand, if someone criticizes an “Angry Woman” she is allowed to go into Whiney Woman mode and send a husband, father, brother, son or other male relative to defend her.  After all, it is unreasonable to expect Angry Women to have to personally deal with another’s anger.

Angry Women are not allowed to hold any public office as an elected official has responsibilities and is expected to follow basic ethics. These officials are fair game for “Angry Women.”

When one official expressed concern regarding “Angry Women” and their apparent growing power in the county another responded, “These women are not powerful-just angry, loud and annoying. It’s like being surrounded by a pack of Chihuahuas.  They are all noise and fury and no real substance.”
