A Tradition Returns: Crazy Bonnet Contest Brings Back Style

With winter’s last blast out of the way, it’s time to think spring and get Crazy!! After being cooped up this frigid winter of 2015, the Heart of Virginia Farmer’s Market Association will hold a Crazy Easter Bonnet Contest on April 4, 2015 for kids of all ages!!

Design your craziest Easter Bonnet or Hat and come and show your crazy side by joining us at the STEPS Centre parking lot on Saturday, April 4, 2015. The Parade will start at 10:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Adult Hat/Bonnet and Best Children’s Hat/Bonnet (awarded to a child under age 13).

The Heart of Virginia Farmer’s Market Association holds a Farmer’s Market year ‘round at the STEPS Centre parking lot. Effective April 1, 2015, our spring/summer hours are 8 a.m. until 12 noon every Saturday.
