RED OAK – This Saturday, September 17, 2016, will mark the sixth year for the Sportsman’s Expo for Life. The event which was created to bring local hunters and fishermen to Christ will once again be held at Red Oak Excavating, located at 5192 Barnesville Highway.

The Expo’s mission is for the event to be a family-centered day that offers fellowship with others and stories that others can relate to and come to know Christ. This year’s Bible verse is “God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” – Genesis 1:28

Event-goers will be offered a wide array of activities in which to participate. There will be a Big Buck Contest, Turkey Shoot, .22 Shoot, Chicken Shoot, Kid’s Fishing Pond, 3D Archery Shoot, Barrel Train for the Kids, Rock Wall, Bouncy House and of course several food vendors will be on hand to offer delicious food for sale. Also at this year’s event there will be over 30 vendors set up that will appeal to men, women and children alike.
